Sweet, delicate, fresh; spicy, pungent, herbal… All describe the truly scent-sational olfactory experiences of Spring at the Farm. As I walk the fields, all five senses come alive – but my sense of smell delivers some of the greatest treats!
Did you know that the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) once ran a show on April Fool’s Day introducing a (fictional) TV product called “Smellovision?” In it, the demonstrator placed onions into a special machine and instructed viewers to stand six feet away from their sets and sniff… Some people actually called in to say the onions had made their eyes water! (See my eyeballs rolling.)
One of the best ways I know to share the fresh aromas of Spring is to gather flowers and fruits and mix their essence into our oh-so-fragrant, small batch candles. For you Farm Fans, small-batch production helps us maintain control a product’s quality and promotes sustainability (less waste). We are proud to tell you that our candle “catalog” has grown to a lovely collection of six fragrances, all found here at the Farm. Choose from French Lavender, Lush Orange Blossom, Sweet-tart Meyer Lemon, Delicious Pomegranate, Honey Almond or Autumn Fig.
