Saturday, June 1st, was filled with fleet-footed Lavender Fun Run families! It was a perfect way to introduce the Yolo Farm to Fork Lavender Run and Capay Valley Lavender to a whole new audience. Yolo Farm to Fork works to teach kids where good food comes from, help them develop healthy eating habits and have them experience the garden as a living laboratory.
Being chosen as the host farm was a special honor for us - proof that we are an integral part of the agricultural community after only six years in operation. Our little Farm has definitely become the destination for organic lavender in the Valley. We thank Yolo Farm to Fork for this recognition.
